Creating or undoing system restore points in Windows 11
To create a restore point:
- In the search box on the taskbar, type Create a restore point, and select it from the list of results.
- On the System Protection tab in System Properties, select Create.
- Type a description for the restore point, and select Create.
To undo a restore point:
- Go to Control Panel and click Recovery, select “Open System Restore”.
- Select “Undo System Restore” and click “Next”.
- Click “Scan for affected programs” to see what will be changed after undoing the System Restore.
- Click “Finish” to complete.
